We love the pool!!!!

Lorie just posted some pics about the Circle Hot Springs Pool.. What a great thing to have so close to use. As a person who tries to plan for things that may or may not ever happen, I look to the pool and the water that feeds it as a tool for survival .  Having a place that is actually in walking distance, if needed, that a person could get hot water is awesome. Also, the water has been tested by the people that live up there and it is surprisingly really good water.  Lorie and I often go to a place called Chena Hot Springs to swim and soak. It is 55 miles from here and cost us $15.00 a piece to get in.  and we still love it.  Every time we go there if I forget to take my rings off they tarnish really bad within minutes. Minerals in the water. But not so at Circle Hot Springs  Never !!!!
They say that there is a little bit of salt in the water but not enough to hurt if had to be used for consumption. I can also haul the water from the creek that feeds the pool instead of paying to haul from town. If we only use it for washing clothes and dishes it would be awesome.
Add to all that, it is just a great place to relax after a hard day of watching the Gray Jays try to get a little bit of dinner from us. lol  So to wrap it up, just one more great reason we think we found such a great spot!

Blessings flow . . . for we are never alone in this world....

Patsy was here with us this day.

Circle Hot Springs.

Central, Circle . . . . Whaaaa?

Our place is in Central, Alaska.  Not to be confused with Circle, Alaska which is 30 miles further on where the road comes to an end at the mighty Yukon river.  (Just 50 miles from the arctic circle.)  However, the hot springs we go to is called Circle Hot Springs even though its in Central and is just 2 miles from our place. On top of that . . . its all in central Alaska.  Got it?  Lol.   The Circle Hot Springs resort was once quite the happening vacation spot in its day.  It must have been really something judging by the remnants left behind.  Here's a little tour.
